Need help creating an event to make announment

I need some help in creating an event. I want to have a announcement when 1 of my sliding doors are open in my BLDSC starts at 9PM. I want it to make announcement again after 30 mins if the doors are still open.

How do I accomplish this?

Need help creating an event to make announment

Create the event to use a recurring time trigger of every 30 mins

Then use conditions of:
Sliding door is open
Time is after 9:00pm
Time is before 7:00 am or whenever you want this to stop checking

Then have you speak command as the action.

This may actually miss midnight, but maybe you don't need to go that late anyway and if not you can remove the OR IF section. If you do need to go that late, then we can probably tidy this up with creating a virtual device for the time window that you care about and using that as the condition instead of the somewhat unintuitive HomeSeer handling of time across midnight.
