  • Replace Z-Wave Stick

Have been having issues with my Z-Wave Stick so have purchased a new one (G5 Model) and was wanting to know if there is a easy way to change from one to the other, with out having to go through and exclude all devices from the old stick then including them on the new one.

Maybe this post from IGG will help you out?
Unfortunately the Aeotec link to the Zensys tool doesn't work anymore (if you can't find the tool, I believe I have got it somewhere on my pc).

You could just go into the zwave module config and backup the config. delete the device (dont delete the zwave devices but just the controller). Install the new one an restore the backup to that. I just did this moving from a usb stick to a z-net device. Worked like a charm.

The Z-Stick G5 does not support that using HS3: http://homeseer.com/compare-z-wave-interfaces.html.
            HS 3.0.0.548: 1990 Devices 1172 Events
