I have 5 of these distributed throughout the house. One of them had their battery drained so I replaced its battery and then placed it back in the door and it wouldn't respond. I then decided to remove it from homeseer, brought it up to my Z-NET and it removed successfully.
I have tried nearly a dozen times now to get the sensor to pair but I always wind up with:
Warning The device at node 68 should result in 3 child devices being created, but the node interrogation currently has 0. This may still result in a successful child creation.
It also puts my z-net into a troubled state so I reinitialize it, re-try. Same thing. I'm about 3 inches away from the Z-NET.
I'm on HS3 (3.0.0.318) on a HomeTroller S6 Pro, Z-NET is 1.0.23 and Z-Wave is 3.0.1.131
