Schlage BE 469 Enrollment

I've read through several postings about this lock. I received this lock last week. Was never able to enroll it with the Z-Troller. Web searches led me to believe the Z-Troller may be too old. (Web searches were confusing because I could not tell what was old information versus newer info).

Anyway, went ahead and upgraded to a Z-Net.

Still same results. Unable to negotiate the security.
Z-Wave Plugin Version 3.0.1.130
Lock as close to device without going molecular.

The lock itself always shows the "X" after the enrollment process.
Tried removing, adding it again.
Even restored the Z-net (was easy since I just upgraded from Z-troller and have the backup file ready to go)
Made sure everytime before trying to enroll that the device was not in the controller.

At a loss. ... and sad....

Who knows...

Holy crap!. After adding, removing, adding, removing, adding, removing over and over again it finally worked! I was stunned. But to add, I did all of the following. Who knows what trick ultimately did it.

I turned on detailed logging.
Added, Removed.
Reviewed the logs. They were meaningless to me.
Stopped/restarted Homeseer.
Added/Removed.
Decided to add in non-secure mode.
No good.
Removed.
stopped/restarted homeseer.
Added - Bingo!

Oh, and I should add, I did this well over 15 feet form the interface (which I understand is the whole point of the network-include feature).

Bizarre.
