SSL offloading with a reverse proxy?

    Hi Folks,

I'd like to use SSL with HomeSeer. I know there's an option in HomeSeer but rather than that, I'd rather use IIS running a Reverse Proxy. This will allow me to automate certificate issuance with Let's Encrypt (who doesn't like free certs?).

Is there a way to do this that forces the myhs.homeseer.com website to use the encrypted connection? What about the phone app?

I'll handle the configuration of the remote proxy myself, I'm hoping someone can provide insight on how to configure HomeSeer to make this work.

    Thanks!

If you are going to this much work why no just directly connect using HSTouch?

It's not that much work, I've already done this for BlueIris. I want all home connections to be encrypted. I find I use myhs.homeseer.com more than the touch app. Is the connection between myhs and my home encrypted?
