    HS3 Crashing on HomeTrollerSEL

I'm running HS3 on HomeTrollerSEL with a few plugins. The box itself stays up (I can ssh into it) but HS3 is down. I've had to do some backup recoveries and I've had to reconfigure some stuff which is very frustrating on a brand new, out of the box system.

I can't really figure out what the actual problem is because apparently there aren't any plaintext log files and the logs in the UI clear on every startup?

Any tips of reading historical logs?

    Thanks!

Welcome to the Homeseer forum Anstosa!

Go to Manage Plugins tab / put checkbox in Installed Plugins-Developer mode.

The logs are in a sqlite format. That said I keep mine short here and never look at the old stuff. Best to watch it live as it debends.

Another thing to watch you can do is to shut down HS3 via the web gui and open up an SSH terminal window - leaving it open - type:
    ./go
    and watch the terminal window.

and disabling your plugins on the web interface and running them one at a time in a separate terminal windows...IE: mono plugin.exe

HS support told me to try the beta version which I am doing now. I guess I'll get an sqlite client to view the logs or run HS manually if it happens again. Thanks!
