    Devices "missing" from z-wave

Several times now some nodes just "disappear" from the network.
They are in HS3 and I have a z-wave tab for them in the properties page, but I don't receive any values from them or can access them.
In Plug-ins -> Z-Wave -> Node information they are not listed.

Then I try audit I receive this message on the root element.
"Could not find Parent for Z-Wave device passed to the Audit function."

Only way is to delete them and add them once more.

Any suggestions what is going on?

        +1

My nodes are still listed under Z-wave Node Info, but the name and manufacturer info is blank (see image). The rescan button is gone, and audit fails.
Most child nodes do however function!
Eg. one Fibaro motion sensor stopped updating the motion child device, but both temperature, vibration and luminance worked. Since there were no rescan button, I had to re-add the device.
Now, what to do with all the other devices that lack main node?

Now the whole system is falling apart.

Z-Wave Multilevel Sensor device xxxxxxxx Power is missing Sensor Type information - cannot update sensor status.

All sensors have lost the root node.

I am having a similar problem, all of the sudden this morning all of my devices are gone, not a single one remains. Devices related to plugins have come back to like ie hue, sonos and ecobee but only because the plugins rebuilt them. Super frustrating.

              Likewise

I have had the same thing happen twice since I update a couple of weeks ago to .423. First I freaked out....then restored with a backup...thank you Blade for a great backup plugin! Don't know why yet...

I was wondering if anyone has had this issue with z-wave devices "disappearing" or going missing from the z-wave controller. I have two Nortek z-wave light bulbs that that recently started removing themselves from my z-wave info screen and have to be re-registered. No sign of them.

                I did find a message in HS log;
7/6/2018 3:21:41 PM, Type=Z-Wave Warning, Message=Device Reset Locally Notification received for device Power Control Family Room Family Room Lamp One - DEVICE IS BEING REMOVED FROM THE SYSTEM.

Any idea what would cause this?

                System:

                Z-wave - 3.0.1.227

I also had this happen to me today. I have two of the GoControl LB60Z-1 bulbs in one light fixture in the hallway, one is still working and one removed itself from the system:

All my zwave stuff disappeared yesterday also. I was messing with speech stuff, rebooted and all the devices disappeared. I was able to limp through the night with an old backup.
