    Speaker client confused

I have 2 speaker clients on my HS Machine, let's call them A and B. All worked great until 2 weeks ago, not WAV files sent A get played on B, A will only do TTS. Anyone any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Merry Christmas Gordon to you and your family!!

Guessing you are running two speaker dot exe clients eh?

Here run four on a separate running Wintel computer. Each of them are in their own directory and run their own profile.

Post a snapshot picture of one client event and a list of speaker clients in the network tab of HS3.

        Try this:

1 - shut down both speaker clients.
        2 - restart Homeseer

        Test it. Just guessing here.

            Another guess...

Is one audioi card a USB audio card? Could be that the USB port audio card is going to sleep?

You can load up each one of the speaker instances a minute or two after HS3 loads.

Try putting both of the speaker client in the Default clients to speak to, comma separated list, blank=all clients

            IE: CONTROL:LIVINGROOM, CONTROL:BEDROOM

or go to speaker config and reconfigure them and rename them?

            or

maybe try to reconfigure each client to separate audio outputs; loading one by one; saving then reloading to see if it uses the same sound card.
