HS3 3.0.0.500 Log Error

HI:

I started getting these log erors when I upgraded HS3.

I have followed the recommendations in these posts , but am still getting the errors. I know its from HSTouch since they go away when I turn off HSTouch.

I turned on detailed HSTouch logging and get the following:

I am not sure why I get these errors. I did add the camera specification in HS3 setup.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm glad I found this thread, its a little dated, but contains good information and I wanted to add my experience. I've built and maintained two systems as an outside job, neither have Netcam or Blue Iris, but they from time to time will show this error. Both systems display camera images from from other NVR systems on Touch Tablets.

CAM Error with request: The operation has timed out

Today it started happening over and over on my home system, after reading this thread, I turned off the Touch Server on the Setup menu, the CAM errors stopped.

The system @home has 20 Blue Iris cameras (I don't run the BI plugin), 4 Amcrest indoor cameras, that used to always Auto Recognize, but NOT recently, its been a bit wonky and only one shows up in HS Setup. Blue Iris sees all four of them.

I turned off Auto Discover supported Cameras in Camera Setup. Blue Iris provides more than enough video and camera images I really don't need HS3 trying to compete with Blue Iris

Touch Tablets are back online and no CAM errors are coming back.
