Child Devices Only Visible on Some Screens

OK, I added a HS door/window sensor and believed I had a problem. Upon further investigation, I realized that the child devices show up only in the PLUG-INS>Z-WAVE>NODE INFORMATION screen and in the EVENTS screen. So, I can use them (I think, haven't built an event, yet), but the only thing that appears in the VIEW>DEVICE MANAGEMENT is the parent device and the battery child. The status of the door and the tamper status children don't appear on that screen.

Is that by design or is that a small bug? Am I missing something?

You perhaps changed the location. Of the parents but not the children and have filtering on the device management page? Try making sure all the device locations and types are checked. If it’s a new device type it may not be enabled in the filter so I’d check that first.

No worries, I personally think new devices should auto-on but its just one of those HS weirdnesses....
