Do you have authentication required for local access? If so are you passing the auth in the URL? I just tested on a .534 install and the request you posted worked. -

JSON API
Hello,
Since upgrading to the latest homeseer (531) the JSON APIs appear to be failing with the following error:
03:31:50:4110:[Error]->Problem serializing data for JSON request: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for Newtonsoft.Json.Utilities.ConvertUtils
I'm calling: /JSON?request=getcontrol&ref=all and /JSON?request=getstatus
Any ideas?
