    Database Repair

    Apparently, I have smoked my homeseer database. Is there some way to rebuild it?

    Check the Config/Backup folder and see if there are any in there.

      No such luck. I had been using a backup script that didn't work.

        What about the backups that HomeSeer itself makes? They're in the Data directory with the running database. There should be several of them.

          For some reason I can't find them. I thought HomeSeer automatically backed up the database, but ...

            The database copies are under Data. In Linux it is /HomeSeer/Data windows would be the same. Use filemanager and you should see them.

            Rename current one to *.bak and rename an older copy to current db name. Shut down HS3 first and...

            HomeSeerData.hsd == > HomeSeerData.hsd.bak
            HomeSeerData_14.hsd ==> HomeSeerData.hsd
