    Error trying to Add/Include HS-WD100+

I’m doing an Add/Include of wall dimmer HS-WD100+ and I get the following error:

Error: Error, Exception enabling notifications for Express_Controls device (Node 48 Z-Wave HomeSeer HS-WD100+ Dimmer):=Object reference not set to an instance of an object Trace: at HSPI_ZWave.clsZwave.Devices_94_EnableNotifications_Express_C ontrols_HomeSeer (HSPI_ZWave.clsZWaveDevice& zd, Boolean Priority, SyncType SyncScanType, HSPI_ZWave.ControllerFunction& Res) [0x00000] in :0

I can see it in Device Management, but I can’t control it from HS3 (that is, it doesn't respond to ON/OFF buttons). I’ve added and removed several times. I don’t know what to try next.

Try disabling your Z-Wave plugin and the re-enable it and then do a remove on the device and then try an add again.

Thanks for the suggestion. I performed the steps (disabling your Z-Wave plugin and the re-enable it and then do a remove on the device and then try an add again) and received no joy. Same error as previous.

I ended up swapping this out with a second HS-WD100+ dimmer switch and the second one worked as expected.

The problem with the original HS-WD100+, however, lives on.

Try adding the original WD100. If it adds, go to z-wave page of device and see if you can reflash the firmware.
