Changing floors or rooms

i did a quick search and didn’t find answer for this. Will changing a device to a different floor or room break anything like events they are in or Alexa?

FWIW my Alexa discovery is currently broken, I am told an engineer is working on it...

Changing room/floor/name does not affect events. Looking at things the wrong way or sneezing is prone to break Alexa/Google integration

Thanks! I was going to just dive in and do it but in my older age I'm starting to check on things instead of living life on the edge all the time. Sometimes it takes too much time to fix things if it goes wrong.

My current Alexa stuff works but it has only discovered new things once or twice in like four months. HS support fixed once but it only lasted for one discovery.
