Looks like HS3 when down and is restarting. Do you have any events or plugins that can restart HS3? How are you starting HS3 as it may be crashing and being restarted automatically.

HS made no attempt, for about 3 hours, to restart itself. I had to physically restart HS.

Is your system exposed to the Internet? You don't have to be home if the UI is exposed to the world, you only have to guess the password. Or, if there are bugs in Homeseer, you may not even need that.

May want to take a peek at your Windows event logs and see if there is anything of interest or if you can tell what it was up to.

No, I don't expose that computer to the Internet.

                Maybe there's a new bug?

Did you check your HS3 logs to see what was the last few lines logged?

It was just the normal Blue Iris & DirecTV entries. There was absolutely nothing unusual in the HS log or Windows Event Viewer.

It was out of the blue...

If HS3 was shut down it would log this fact. If the log just stops abruptly then either the system is crashing or HS3 is crashing both of which should be logged in the system event viewer.
