Sending Messages and/or agenda's to; tablets devices and/or TV monitors?

Is there a way of sending a formatted page that contains HS3 generated something like family calendar events and/or messages to either a tablet and/or monitor?

I have a wall-mounted Android tablet (HP Touchpad) that runs HSTouch. I have one screen that embeds the google calendar for the family to see upcoming events for the month.
It works really well. It automatically changes to other screens every :15m to show weather, status, etc.

Rob, many thanxs for quick come back. Is it possible to share how your latest HSTouch screen looks like? Not being familar with HSTouch is it possible to display on IOS devices (YES) for both or is it only Android devices? I've been using ImperiHome as my IOS tablet display for HS, Mike

Rob, thanxs for the pointer, I notice several folks have some nice setups is there per chance a repository that one could use as a templets/ be modified with ones devices? Being a complete novice with HSTouch other than initially opening it, then closing it (looked complex) be cause I was trying to learn all things pertaining to setting up HS3?

There are a number of 'templates' that come with HSTouch, but no repository for user-shared templates. I've found that it takes hours to create a page or two in the designer. The good news is that you can develop and test your screens in the designer before pushing it out to the devices.

That's what I was afraid of... I see that there is a way of using powerpoint and converting one's objects to HSTouch, but the "German Man" in the UTube video makes it look too easy (not) in the short time I learnt powerpoint features that I've never knew existed nor used before even as a corporate developer/presenter. I guess I will have to roll up my proverbial sleeves and take a stab at it.. Mike

Rob, dumb newbie question, I've been able to install HSTouch but when I look in the devices panel I do not see any of my devices even thought the little green light at the top indicates its connected am I missing something obvious? Mike

UPDATE: Never mind I found my oops I was using my actual HS3 Server Port number (which is different) and not the HSTouch Designer default Port 10200. After a little self flagellation, I can now connect and the Devices panel update to reflect my devices. I have noticed that the several device have the same names under ColumnHeader is there someway of using identifying actual device names? Mike

                  glad you got connected.

I get the duplicate names in my designer too. I think it's a long-standing bug

Try one, then click on View Windows client to see if that one works, if not, try the other. It's one of the growing pains with HSTouch

                        Rob,

Thanxs for the come back, I think I found a better way if I create a button for example and then go to the Elements Properties of the button and select either Actions whenActionPressed or Released your presented with an Action Editor, if you select the Misc, Device drop down I get a list of all of my devices with floor, room and name and can select them that way but at least I get a complete device name to chose from. Not sure what value the Devices View gets me? Mike

Ah - I generally ignore the Devices View list and just create buttons. I think HST envisioned that you would drag/drop the device onto the canvas, then change it to a button, text box, etc.
Once you create a button, or any other control, just right-click and copy/paste it for other devices.
