    ERROR: Error: TrustFailure (Authentication failed, see inner exception.)

    I need to test my plugin on Linux ASAP, so jseer, etc. please help

    I installed HS3 on Ubuntu VM. In the updater I get (see screenshot below)
    Code:
    ERROR: Error: TrustFailure (Authentication failed, see inner exception.)
    And when I try to install a plugin, I get

    Code:
     [TABLE="class: log_table_row"]
    [TR]
    [TD="class: LogDateLong LogDateTime0, align: left"][COLOR=#FF0000]May-31 1:50:37 AM [/COLOR][/TD]
     			[TD="class: LogPri0, align: left"] [/TD]
     			[TD="class: LogType0, colspan: 3, align: left"][COLOR=#FF0000]Updater [/COLOR][/TD]
     			[TD="class: LogEntry0, colspan: 8, align: left"][COLOR=#FF0000]Error saving the downloaded file: error [/COLOR][/TD]
     		[/TR]
    [/TABLE]
    [TABLE="class: log_table_row"]
    [TR]
    [TD="class: LogDateLong LogDateTime1, align: left"][COLOR=#FF0000]May-31 1:50:37 AM [/COLOR][/TD]
     			[TD="class: LogPri1, align: left"] [/TD]
     			[TD="class: LogType1, colspan: 3, align: left"][COLOR=#FF0000]Updater [/COLOR][/TD]

     		[/TR]
    [/TABLE]

    It's not only me - users report same problem on Linux. Please fix.

      I noticed this starting today.

      When accessing anything on homeseer.com via wget client, it errors out:

      Code:
       $ wget https://homeseer.com
      --2020-05-30 18:35:13-- https://homeseer.com/
      Resolving homeseer.com (homeseer.com)... 45.32.195.211
      Connecting to homeseer.com (homeseer.com)|45.32.195.211|:443... connected.
      ERROR: The certificate of ‘homeseer.com’ is not trusted.
      ERROR: The certificate of ‘homeseer.com’ has expired.
      No issue with curl client, nor with Firefox, Chrome, Edge clients.

      wget client running on Windows fails in same way.

      Certificate expiration date is Aug 24 2021, so the 'expired' message is puzzling. Perhaps something up with the trust chain?

        I am having the same problem on Linux Zee2s "Error Downloading update control file: Error: TrustFailure (Authentication failed, see inner exception.)". And the Alexa Skill is not responding.

          Alexa skill is working now BUT TrustFailure on upgrades is still a problem: "Error downloading updates file: Error: TrustFailure (Authentication failed, see inner exception.)"

              It is an SSL issue, we are working on it. Only affects Linux.

                    Should be ok now. I was updating all the servers but did not have homeseer.com updated when I posted.

                          Thank you rjh it's working now.

                          Just wondering, do you have any server status monitoring - which users can check and subscribe in case there's a problem? I.e. status.digitalocean.com

                          How much time users spent with these issues not knowing that it's on your side? With this one I spent a few hours, because I thought it was my Ubuntu 18.10 VM - so I created a new Ubuntu 20.04 VM just to find out at 02:00 AM that it's not my VM?
