I've got a few of these Monoprice or Vision Sec (maybe another brand as well?) door sensors that frequently register their status as "Unknown" which appears to be a value of 254.
When I search my logs for the change (to "Unknown" from "Closed" or "Open"), there doesn't seem to be a pattern of when or why they change. Attached is one example. They're making a mess of my security status screen, as the doors appear in Unknown state for days - until they're open/closed again, then they stay for a while... maybe.
I've considered just forcing the "Unknown" back to "Closed" but it seems like there'd be a way to have the device wake up and report at least once an hour or something like that?
