If 'date is after/before' stopped working on January 1st

The attached set of conditions worked flawlessly until January 1st. I tried to delete and recreate the dates, but same result. The date format hasn't change, for me it's Y-mm-dd. The objective is to trigger after October 1st or before May 2nd, within any year. No logging of the triggers.

Anybody else using this type of condition and, if so, what's your experience?

You have to start our 2nd trigger (Or if) with a launching point, not with a condition.
