events... what works and what doesnt

ok fellow HS3 beta testers..
have you found what works and what doesnt???

example...
I have
@ sunset porch light on - works - x10 light switch 23890w 2 way
@ 9pm fish tank lights off ha02c zwave app module
@ 9pm fish tank moon lights on ha02c zwave app module
@ 8am fish tank lights on ha02c zwave app module (same as 2 up)
@ 2am fish tank moon lights off ha02c zwave app module

now what doesnt work
x10 received for fish tank main off then turn on
x10 fish tank main off then fish tank main back on
@ sunrise turn front porch light off - havent set a specific time but know that will work

now i ask this as have been testing acrf3 beta and blrf...
i have an event set for A1 on received then fish tank main off and with BOTH it does not work
but manually clicking event it works.. weird..

so seems things are going but not all... im going to spend next week getting all of my devices into HS and start getting things going and see if i can get work arounds and all working for a full functional HS for my needs...

so far i have successfully tested
MS13a - motions
PMS01 - passive motion (4 x aa batt unit)
ds10a - on sump pump x 2 and on mercury switches on garage doors x 2
x10 light switches and zwave lamp/app modules...

so much is working but need to get it all tied together now as I want to try the counters for sump pump running and the sort...

Are all your X10 light switches 2 way? Mine are the recent version 1 way that ramp up to 100% with the ON command. But the HS3 doesn't control them like HS2 did. In HS2, I could set them up with extended dim device type. Then they would turn on with the ON command or with any % dim up or down command. With HS3, they act like an old lamp module. No response trying to turn on using any % dim. So I have to send ON followed by another command for %. If I change the % dim later, they go full bright, then to the % dim.

sorry for no reply.. I set my 2 way light switches (23890w togglelinc) to appliance... so from HSTouch I dont have the hundread+ dimable options i just have on/off

so i took the front porch light event that is not working.. and changed it from sunrise as the trigger to 5am trigger and still no dice... interesting.. hitting the run now button it works.. for some reason this event does not want to fire off...

I have several X10 events that fire before sunset, like 45 min. before, then 30 min. before, then 15 min. before. These all work fine. I only have one event that turns off at 30 min. after sunrise, but it works too. Have you tried an offset on sunrise, say 5 min. before? I actually have all my outdoor lights turn off in the AM via a signal from an MS16 motion/light sensor.

hmm ill try that next.. weird thing is no issues with sunset event.. just sunrise
