However not active on the forum, I'm using HomeSeer for serveral years.
Currently still using HS2 but "trying" to changeover to the RPi 2

For this I downloaded and installed your image. But how to continue.
How can I start the service. I gues it's not running becauase when I use "Find.Homeseer" there are no IP adresses shown.

    With regards,
    Jan Droog The Netherlands.

There are 3 users on this distro, all with the same password: homeseer
The users are root, pi, homeseer

***After booting the image, login as homeseer and:
    sudo apt-get install mono-complete

Mono 3.2.8 is installed along with flite (TTS) and chromium.

If you guys are using something different with the Pi2, let me know - I'd be interested in how you guys are using yours with HS3.

If you have monitor connected, login and navigate to /usr/HomeSeer then run ./go
There are some other posts that talk about loading as service.

        Thanks for your reply.
Due to work I'd to put the conversion to the RPi in to the fridge. But now
I've my X-mas holidays and fixed it. Got it running

          Hi,

I've used your image and got HS3Pro working great. I'm also using Webmin for remote linux management but I see there is a HomeSeer menu item relating to Linux Tools (Tools -> System -> Linux Tools). When selected it asks for the system password and I've tried homeseer, HomeSeer, Homeseer and raspberry but none work.

Do you know what that password is set to for your image or standard HS3Pro install?

          Dave

I have no idea as I've never used it. I tried all variations myself and none work, so I suppose it's not a Linux password but an app password.

It kind of works these days with the Zee-2.

It was / is a piece left over from the original Zee.

                Image Links Broken?

                Hello,

Is either of the two images still available? Neither link works.

Purchased 16 GB SD micro for PI3 to install HS3Pro.

                Thanks,

                Jim

So if I install from scratch, can I use Ubuntu on the PI3 and run HS3Pro? What is the recommended Linux OS for the PI?

Yep. Ubuntu will handle hs3 just fine.

I use raspian on the pi.
                        Install mono-complete
                        Install mono-vbnc

And that's it, copy hs3 files over and you are up and running
