    Import utility error

    Any ideas why I'd get this message when trying to import event shell from HS2 into HS3 via the Import Utility:

    Database->Opening (Mode=Read) up HomeSeer database: C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HSPRO\Config\sample.mdb
    Error->Exception retrieving database information (A): Could not lock file.
    Error->Failed to get version information from configuration database, data NOT loaded.
    Database->HomeSeer configuration database C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HSPRO\Config\sample.mdb has been closed.
    ->HS2 database contains 0 Events.
    ->HS2 database contains 0 Devices, devices are NOT imported.

    Norton is disabled. Both HS programs are closed.

    Feeling stupid here...in spite of scouring the message board for ideas, I cannot get beyond the error posted below. I'm on Win 10, I shut down HS2, HS3 and Speaker. I disabled Norton, I am the administrator. There are no HS services running (assuming they are identified as Homeseer or HS). I have rebooted. I still get this error running the import utility.

    Database->Opening (Mode=Read) up HomeSeer database: C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HSPRO\Config\sample.mdb
    Error->Exception retrieving database information (A): Could not lock file.
    Error->Failed to get version information from configuration database, data NOT loaded.

    ->HS2 database contains 0 Events.
    ->HS2 database contains 0 Devices, devices are NOT imported.

    Any help out there?

      Have you tried copying the mdb file and trying it with the copied file?

      Cheers
