    Hello,
Upgrade to HS4 sometime ago. Recently uninstalled/reinstalled the Doorbird plugin. The Doorbird device(s) are not being created. If I connect to the plugin URL http://homeseerIP/doorbird?triggertype=1, I see that the plugin registers an event. How can I create the Doorbird devices? Also, will there be a fully compatible HS4 plugin? If not, any possibility of releasing the source code so someone else could modify it to make it work with HS4? Thanks for any help.

      Hi!

I have the doorbird plugin fully operational in HS4 . All good.

But is there a way to store all images from motion and doorbell to a custom folder on my computer? Preferably by date and time..?

      Thank you in advance.

Good to hear as I will be promoting DoorBird again now that they have servers in the US.

          Hello,

I recently got into HS4 and a doorbird doorbell. I cannot get the notifications to work from the doorbird yet (although running from a browser works), but I'm working on it (have looked at the API enablement and the schedules issues but both seem correct, although the plugin did not auto-populate the favorites). I did change my HS4 port to 8008 - I don't see why that would cause issues with the Doorbird notification but maybe someone has some thoughts?

One thing I have noticed is the plugin seems to poll the doorbird for doorbell and motion events, but the API call is backwards. I see HS4 polling: URL: http://[IP address of the doorbird/bha-api/history.cgi?index=1&event=doorbell (or motionsensor)

This returns an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.

When I ran this command via a rest app, it faulted out. But if I reverse the event=doorbell&index=1 nomenclature, I get a response (via the rest app). Is there a way to adjust the plugin and reverse the order of variables? I saw in the API info I downloaded, the example API call is the event then index order.

          Thank you for your help!

Is there any continuing support for this plugin with HS4? I did get alerts from the device to HS4. I had to create a new user in HS and use those login credentials in the Favorites call, so something like: userassword@192.xxx.x.xxx:8080/doorbird?/triggertype=1. With the authentication the doorbell event registered. Haven't tried 4d motion, but I assume it will work similarly with triggertype 2.

I can't get the historical bell or motion captures because of the syntax issue i mentioned above, but I think that'd be an easy adjustment.

I would like to the fingerprint scanner to work. That is part of the API so I think it'd be pretty straightforward to incorporate. I know very little of programming but at least got this far. The API documentation for Doorbird seems pretty good.

            Anyone out there listening?

The Plugin was working great for me when I had HS3 running but since HS4 it is not supported. I would have a number of events set up with it including triggering lighting and chromecast devices with an alert when the door bell was activated. Now the only thing that the app records now is the screenshot of the person who pressed the door bell.

The plugin works fine in HS4, did you setup the rules and schedule in the doorbird App?

Yes, sorry. HScall schedules is on as well, I sent the wrong screen shot. Could you have a look at my IP's to see if there is something wrong there, I am new at this and am not 100%? I have replaced the number with letters for privacy.
