    Starting/Stopping a timer via script

What is the hs.timer...... function to start and stop a timer via a .vb script?

I found HS3 references to hs.TimerValue("TimerName") but nothing regarding starting or stopping a timer.

Is there a list somewhere of all hs. functions for HS3?

In the absence of script support, you might have to create events to stop/start timers and just trigger those from your script.

Thanks, I considered creating events to start and stop timers, then triggering the events from a script, but this is pretty cumbersome! but if there is no other way i guess I will do it that way!

I am trying to track my Dell computer(not my Homeseer computer)daily On vs Sleep time.

I'm doing something similar. I track my HVAC and Attic Fans using Timers and write them to a file at midnight. I havent started pulling it into Excel yet.

            Starting/Stopping a timer via script

I've been tracking all my major appliances for years by writing on/off times to a file for each device. I have an excel spreadsheet that calculates the daily on time total for each device. This works great, but it is a pretty complicated spreadsheet!

I wanted to see if using HS3 timers could simplify this process.
