  • Suddenly not Administrator

2nd HS3 problem today. After running for months, suddenly my usual login gives me no admin privileges; I can't even open most devices! I didn't even know I had a possible login that isn't an admin. How do I restore admin privileges?
    HS3Pro on Windows 10
One install with 2 Ethernet Z-nets
    2nd install with 1 Zstick
    300 devices, 250 events, 8 scripts
    5 CT-100 tstats
Serial IT-100 interface to DSC Panel with 8 wired zones
18 Fortrezz water sensors & two valve controls
Serial Rain8Net Pro with 8 zones

This is typically an indication that something became corrupt in your config. Do you have a recent backup that you can overlay over your existing install? If not you can always delete your users.cfg file and restart HS3 and it will recreate this file. You will have to set your myHS account up again once you do this.

the same thing has happened to me as well.

I just setup my new system.

It was running OK for maybe 5 days.

I did create a new HS touch user and now that is the only one I can login in as now?

Did you delete your users.cfg file to get back up and going?
