Newbie question

Hi, I am brand new to HomeSeer. I have setup a Raspberry Pi OK and added a Z-wave adaptor and then a device. All seems OK
Each thing has several channels and they all appear to report correctly
I have downloaded the HomeSeer app on my iPhone also OK
Now. The window sensors show status of ‘No Status’ on me phone but the sensor is correctly changing state because I can see that on the web Interface.
Question: what do I need to do to see the status of the window as ‘open’ or ‘shut’?

Ok I see it now the channel is the thing that changes status.
So why does the phone interface say No status with the white cog on the black circle?
Also how do I see the channel info on the phone app??
