    Make Zwave controller Primary again

I've gone back to my HS3 server having failed to get HS4 working satisfactorily. Today I tried to add a new zwave device but got this error message:

Error - Add Node Failed reported by controller - the controller was NOT the PRIMARY controller required for this operation.

How do i make the Z-Wave controller Primary again?

    Anyone?

In trying to help me transfer my HS3 system to a new HS4 Pi, HS Support got me to transfer the HS3 Zwave config by using the "Send Network Information to another Controller and make it Primary" command on my HS3.

I gave up trying to get the HS4 system working and I have reverted back to my trusty HS3 system.

The only issue I have though is if I try to do anything (e.g. add or remove a Zwave node through HS or Z-Tool+) involving the HS3 Zwave controller now I get the error message that says you can't do that "because the controller is not the PRIMARY controller". The HS4 system and its Zwave controller no longer exist. How do I get my HS3 controller to be the Primary controller so I can add nodes??

No guarantees ... but if you want to send a memory image of your Z-stick I'll take a look.
          1. Download Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5 Backup Tool. Unzip this, will create folder "Z-Stick Gen5 Backup Tool"
          2. Navigate to the unzipped folder and start the Aeotec application zwave_500.exe ... Aeotec GUI will open.
          3. Disable your controller device in HomeSeer (or shut down Z-Wave plugin).
          4. Select Settings->Port and select the COM port of your device. Message 'Load ZStick Success' should appear at the bottom.
          5. Select 'Read EPROM'. This opens a file chooser; enter a name and click Save.
          6. Send file (some_name.bin) via forum or PM.
PS. for reference, include latest zwave backup file (*.zwave) from the Data/Z-Wave folder under the HS root.

Thanks, zwolfpack, appreciate the offer. Before I go down that path, I remembered that I took a backup of the interface before I moved over to HS4. Restoring from that file using the "Restore a Network to this Interface" option won't take it back to Primary again, will it? I guess there is no harm in trying that?
