    Spoke too soon.

    Updated to HS3 ZEE S2 Edition 3.0.0.297

    Bug still remains.

No activity on bug report since February

Clearly kicked into the long grass.

I've tried with the database I use on my Windows server which is in correct format. Same problem.
We pay for HS3 Pro and have to pay for HS3-RPi3 and we always get new bugs

        Hi,

To have 24 hour format you also need to change

        /usr/local/HomeSeer/autostart_hs to GB

        rather than the default US.

        To add your actual location

        /usr/local/HomeSeer/Config/location.csv

and add your actual location copying the already entered locations.

        Hope that helps

        Jo

I've changed to FR : it works now thanks.

Time zone already knows France. Date should have been ok.
          But there're so many bugs...

          Thanks for your help.

As a minor aside I note that the longitude values in the file are reverse signed. ie West of Greenwich values are positive instead of the expected negative. That would explain why the sunrise/sunset times in my custom location are off, because Homeseer thinks I am 300km from where I actually am!

Yes that's a very longstanding feature/bug. HST are well aware, but strangely it's never made it to the top of the list to fix. It's doubly confusing when using other plugins that do it correctly. Seems a quick fix to default to the correct way for new installations with an option or one time conversion for existing installations.

Have been banging my head against a wall with this for days on a Linux (not Zee S2) installation...

The locale was staying firmly set with US date format, which is just wrong (when you are in the UK, of course :-) )

You will also need to amend the go file in the HomeSeer directory:
e.g. nano /usr/local/HomeSeer/go to GB (or your preferred locale)

this is AS WELL AS amending in autostart_hs

                  hope this helps someone

                    Thank You

This was the last information I needed. Now finaly my HS3 under Linux has the right date and time format.
