When I try to delete the SQl.interop.dll that is in the hs3 root folder and HS3 is running it tells me that it can't be deleted because it is in use by the hs3.exe so I am thinking that this is needed but maybe its not inthe correct folder

    it that a possibility

    Cheers Ken

      Kenrad,

I think HS3 itself is storing its SQl.interop.dll in the root of the bin directory. so you should one version there.
When you try to delete the file in the installation dfirectory you probably will see HS3 as it is HS3 starting the plugin.

You can check for the data directory where often databases are stored. Thisw way you know which plugins have databases (skip access databases), next you can look in the bin directoy, which plugins store their DLLs. The one(s) having databases and not to be found in the bin directory are your candidates.
Then you can check with removing SQl.interop.dll and disabling/enabling plugins?

              Zigmund,

I have never tested it for Mono/Linux. The library mentioned I have not added to the build. I suppose it is needed for Linux, but do not know where to get this yet.
I am a bit of a nitwit for Linux...
Does the directory Homeer/bin/JowiHue exist on your system? Looking at the logging it does not?

                    Ken,

Then in that case the SQLLite DLL's in the installation directory are definitally in the way of operating this plugin. The only way is finding the owner of the plugin using the SQLLite in the installation folder. He should move them to its own directory.

                      Bart,

I am wondering what you would like to achieve whit the global. You can create a blue flash now with the scenes and animations or other alerts. You could trigger those alerts with events based on rain or other now?
I do not know what function you would like to get here?

                        Hi,

I ssee some issues in the log about parsing JSON and lost bridge connections.

In addition some creativity/scenes logic does not work as expected to me in triggerd events. I will test some further and come back with detailed findings. Overal great plugin so far !!!

I had this problem with the mcsXap plugin, but it was fixed in a newer release and now all is working well.

Great plugin. I tried all the other Hue plugins and this one is the best.

I am wondering what you would like to achieve whit the global. You can create a blue flash now with the scenes and animations or other alerts. You could trigger those alerts with events based on rain or other now?
I do not know what function you would like to get here?

                            Wim,

I would like to take a snapshot of a hue situation, And revert back to that situation after a scene or animation or hue status change by homeseer. I think its possible by using your scenes but do not exaclty get the wait times, but this has probabaly has something todo with the alert command.

                            an example event;

                            HUES in state X

                            Alarm tripped.

                            Get current HUE state

all hues need to be set to color red and start alerting until alarm restored. (old situation with jon00 plugin i would send an alert command every 15 secs and the event can only trigger every 15 sec when the alarm is high)

                            Alarm restored.

                            Revert back to state X

By the way I totaly migrated now. My wakeup light works and off course the normal on/off commands for example on movements. Next step is my alarming and messaging using your plugin.

                            regards

                              Bart,

Good to hear the plugin works for you so far.

On your alert, the good thing is that this functionality is already available in the plugin.
When you create an animation you can select options per animation. One of these options is "return to original settings after animation ends"
So all you should need to do is create an alert animation and make sure to set this option.

I realise though that there might be a challenge if you create the alert as an infinite loop. There is no way yet to stop it ("Alarm restored") with an event action. I will work on that part for the next version.
A work around would be creating a infinite loop and when alarm is restored, generate a dummy on to the lights. You could use that till the next version?

                              Regards,

Great plugin. I tried all the other Hue plugins and this one is the best.

                                Bdickhaus,
Thanks for confirming this issue with SQLLite caused by other plugins. I am almost regretting using SQLlite because of this.

And many thanks on the compliment. I was missing functions on the other plugins as well, that was my main reason to start creating this. I am not finished yet with the plugin even.
