  • Web plugin to change value in an event?

Would it be possible to make an web based plugin that one could log into and then change say the dimming value of devices in an event?

Say i want my girlfriend to change the light level on the daytime mode, she could enter a web page and get up the value of all lights affected to the different modes etc.

    The short answer: Yes.

    The long answer:
There's nothing in HomeSeer right now that let's you set the dim value to a variable in an Event, so the dim value must be set by code. Instead of using the usual "Then set the device to Dim 50%", you need to execute something different.

But you don't have to write a whole plugin for this. This is where scripting comes in handy.
If you can write the desired value from a web page, the script can read that value and act accordingly when executed.
