Yes, it should go to the number of days you have it set to retain or the maximum log size, whichever it hits first. Mine stays right at 14 days and hovers around 65MB. -

But shouldn't the file be allowed to grow up to the max size of 200mb, unless I've hit the limit of keeping entries the 14 days. I'll change the days and see if it changes.

This is normal. The pruning process will run once every three hours and remove any records over 14 days (336 hours) old. I have less records deleted every 3 hours, but I have a lot of logging disabled (all devices, many events). Here are my entries from today.Originally posted by Stuart View Post

wondering if anyone is also seeing this...

Nov-24 10:15:00 PM Log Maintenance 1292 records, selected by date/time, were removed from the log database.
In my setup I have
Max log size in megabytes (MB) 200
Max number of days of log entries to keep 14 days.
Yet this keeps pruning the file all day long
