    Cannot start after upgrading to .435 on linux

    Not much help but I was on .435 before .478 on my 16.04LTS VM without those issues, hopefully someone can help.

      Here have been running on HS3 V.449 on two Ubuntu Linux machines for months now with no issues. Give it a try.

        Ended up just doing a fresh install and restoring my config/data. I must've broken permissions on something when upgrading. Thanks all!

          Yes here on a new HS3 Linux box build typically create two system sudo users pete and homeseer and give this users RW rights to the HomeSeer directory wherever it is.

          I disable default user using the Homeseer GUI and match the system users in the GUI.

          I also changed the default /usr/local/HomeSeer directory to /HomeSeer. Many users put the HomeSeer directory here /opt/HomeSeer.
