    Yes. A central scene feature is created in HS4 with the value/status pairs shown below. Events can be triggered by change in value of that feature (tap top once, tap top twice, tap bottom once, hold down top, etc.)

    There's a quirk in that a switch light feature is created that I wasn't able to make sense of so have ignored. Looking at thesmartesthouse.com just now it looks like there's an LED indicator light on the device that I wasn't aware of and may not be supported by HS. Not important to me but might be for you. The battery feature updates regularly and appears to work although it's not dropped below 100% yet after a few months use.
