    HELP designer .73 and HS3

I noticed other are running .73 w/ HS3, but since installation of HS3, I have lost my ability to run designer.
I have reloaded designer many times
    deleted old and re-loaded
even removed HS2 ( which it worked with )
now I am in the weeds..
I have changed the password in HS3
I have tried to enter a help desk ticket, but it won't let me in

    any thing I didn't think of ??

I sure would like to begin testing of my Androids and I-Pads w/ HS3

and error about log/lat is really strange

    Thanks
    Geary

I get the same thing when trying to connect to HS3. It looks like HS3 is running HSTouch lite, which won't let the designer connect. Check the HS3 log for a message to that effect.
I started a thread about this in the HS3 beta section but never got much response.

There are two places the IP address and login get stored. When I had the problem I change the default in Tools->Options->Connection Defaults, but it may also be listed in Tools->Options->Project Defaults. I typically remove the Project setting.

Also be sure to disconnect (or let it time out if it's looking for an address) before you change the connection settings otherwise they don't always update.

I don't have any problem connecting to HS3 with Designer.

The clients for HS3 aren't operational yet are they?

Additionally, all of my HS2 devices still show up in HS3, so not sure where they're being cached..

          Thanks again

They won't run without clients, no (haven't actually tried yet, I stole the IP address of my touch display for the test HS3 server and I'm too lazy to reconfigure another IP portal in the Cisco, so I haven't really run them both at the same time yet )

I also thought all of the displays will need to be rebuilt to point at the new device addresses??

Curious it connects (I just tried it). Either the Android/Apple plugins are what I though they were or they've included them in the HStouch PI?

                  Have fun..

I thought the same, but I had a password mismatch. Works fine except there's no data. Make sure your Touch pad and HS3 are the same.

                      Hot today?

                            Ouch..
I worked out of Vegas for several years on the Kern River pipeline project in '91 automating the turbine stations. Don't remember even our Mojave meter station getting that hot.
