HS Touch Designer SLOOOOOOOOOW

I had .30 installed tried to open it and it ltakes forever at "Getting RSS Data" step. Then once it does open the project it becomes unresponsive when you try to open a different project. I have iInstalled. .56 from the Software Downloads Page, same result, then tried .58 from the HS3 Touch Designer Release notes. Same Result. If I disconnect from the HomeSeer server is works ok but as soon as I try to connect again is locks up.

Any ideas why this is hanging up?


I am running Windows 10 PRO 64bit version 1803 OS build 17134.228 on the the PC that I am trying to use to do my designer updates.

How much memory does your PC have that you are running the Designer on? What are the specs of the PC. The designer runs fine on my Win10 laptop with 8GB of RAM.

I have found the issue. I had an old RSS data feed for weather that no longer worked. When Designer was starting it would loop trying to get that RSS data finally it would time out and open up the design screens. I deleted the screen using that data and now it opens in a reasonable time.
