Thank you for you assistance. I did not have it set to "Connect at startup". I checked it, restarted and received the below error. It then brought up the connection dialog, I cancelled and it showed connected. See second image. Weird. I now see my devices in the designer. I will have to look at the tutorials. I added a button, added an action, a device, but it does not have command?

You click on where it says Command then they show up and you choose one.
And a tip for diving into deep : https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...or-home-remote

The drop down when you click on 'Command' shows the controls for the device you have selected. If you have selected the Root/Parent device with no controls or a status only child device, then there aren't any commands available.
If it is a typical physical device represented by a group of Parent/Child devices (Parent/Features in HS4 speak) you need to choose the correct Child/Feature device that you want to control.
I hope this helps.

- And also I guess but not sure you might have set user access on the devices...???...Check that
- Click on device again to find the right technology of the device (because 1st Floor Family Room Mark is not one of them)

I am having exactly the same issue as in post #3. When I try to enter the password again on the next screen it tells me to check my network connection. In the log I see and error
Client login refused, bad username/pass, username requested was: [my email]
When I go to myhs.homeseer.com I can login using the same username and password without any problems. In HS I have enabled "Enable HSTouch". Trying the local account (not myHS) also doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.

First make sure you have your details (remote MyHS) saved,- Delete and recreate the remote user in HomeSeer (uses Email and MyHS login credentials)
- Fire up the New Designer and register it using the MyHS credentials plus the New HS4 License and user Name
- Once the Designer (my post at #2) is opened and connected to your server (set also the connection defaults), change the Designer connection to use your local (admin) user name and password.
- To ease up the local connections (HS4 Users) not require a password and set to allow for auto generate HSTouch Users
- Reconfigure (settings) for all the clients (HSTouch) as if they were first login using my MyHS and then after the stay at home should be on Local connection (this is crucial when deploying your designs... should be local)
- Make it a habit of rebooting everything...
Note : The bottom part of the connection defaults is for the Local connection (Local Admin : User and Password)

Eman Thanks for the detailed instructions. I think the problem was that the myHS pwd and the local account pwd didn't match. Obviously, when you log in locally via HSTouch then you need to use the credentials of a local account. But I didn't expect that this is also the case when using myHS. After all when went to myhs.homeseer.com I could login just fine but it wouldn't work with HSTouch. Anyways, it is working now except HSTouch doesn't see my mobile devices despite the fact that they are on the same network (one wired one "private" wireless network that should be able to see the wired devices, at least that worked fine before). Anyways, haven't looked much into that yet.
