    HS4 Beta for ZEE S2?

Purchased upgrade license practically first day of availability last year. Thought February, 4, 2020, was the date I was waiting for. Still waiting... How much longer?

I am a new HomeSeer customer and I, too, am trying to install the HS4 beta on my HomeTroller Zee S2 with no luck.

I followed this article: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/de...-now-available and downloaded and unzipped hs4piv1-050820.zip and used Etcher to flash it to my SD card. I then shut my hub down, inserted the SD card into it, and powered it back up, but it just restarts HS3.

I also followed these instructions and tried to go to http://HSIP:911, in my case http://192.168.4.28:911/php/HS4.php, but I just get a 404.

I would appreciate some help, as I have a bunch of SmartThings devices that I need to control, and I purchased a Nortek ZigBee adapter from HomeSeer, but it's worthless without HS4.

              Thank you!

Try going to http://find.homeseer.com then next to the system you want click Maintenance.

Strange! What version of HS3 is it running? Make sure it is up to date in the setup page.

Okay, I succeeded in getting to the maintenance page (after rebooting my hub), and now I'm offered two links, HomeTrollerZeeS2V7 and HomeTrollerZeeS2V7 Maintenance. Clicking on Maintenance sends me to http://fe80::b22a:cfc6:df0a:d498:911, which is not valid.

OK that is the correct page but the wrong version of it. I think I had V1.1 not V1. Did you go to setup and load the Beta of HS3, I guess this updates it?

Well, I finally got HS4 installed. I could not get it installed per the instructions of the https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/de...-now-available post, but I did upgrade to the most recent HS3 Beta and I was then able to use its maintenance page to upgrade to the HS4 beta per enigmatheatre's suggestion (thank you!!!). And I was also able to get the new Zigbee Plugin successfully installed using the Nortek Zigbee adapter.

I do have one issue, though. I have some SmartThings devices, which is the primary reason I wanted to upgrade to HS4. I was able to add a SmartThings Button and a SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor. Both of these sensors report battery level and temperature, and the Button reports three types of button pushes (press, double press, and long press) and the Multipurpose sensor reports door open and close. Everything on the Multipurpose sensor worked great, but only battery and temperature are supported in the Zigbee plugin for the Button. So I can use my Button as a temperature reporting device, but I can't use it as a button. Does anyone have a solution for this (I presume the device states are defined in a configuration file somewhere).

                              Regards,

                              David
