    Not alle to install HS4 properly on Ubuntu 18.04

    Hello, Im unfortunately not able to get HomeSeer running on my Ubuntu 18.04. When I try to open up http://10.0.0.191:88 I Get no response from server

    You need to go to the registration page and enter you license details. localhost/register.html

      Unfortunately, still not able to connect. Using: http://10.0.0.191:88/register.html

          I noticed that you started HomeSeer using sudo. You might try running it directly as root.

            Are you leaving the ssh connection open after starting it?

              I had the same problem, think you need to use standard web port 80. After logging in to HS4 you can chose the port you want.
              Edit settings.ini in config folder. (gWebSvrPort=80)

                Well, the issue was related to Safari not redirecting. Solved used Firefox 😀
