    Samsung multipurpose sensors

I am new to HS4. I have several smartthings multipurpose sensors. When I added them to HS4, they all said battery levels were 100%. They were really in the 75-85%.
They have not updated in the last 4 days? Is there a known problem with the battery status not updating? Do I need to do something to get them to start updating?
They are all working fine & they are updating when contact sensor opens/closes & temps are updating (all in *C instead of *F), but are updating. Its just the battery levels.

Click on the Battery Device and under the Features tab, tick the checkbox for "Last Change Updates on Status Change Only". That way, the last change date/time will update even if the battery level is the same. This will at least tell you the last time the device sent a battery update. Most Z-Wave sensors update once every 24 hours, and some can even be configured so that they only report when the reading changed.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went in to make the changes, and the box is already checked....
Does not appear the battery levels have updated in the last 4 days....

Yeah, I would check the technical details of the sensor and see if it sends a battery level only if the value changes. What is the model # of the sensor?

you want that box UNchecked, don't you? that's what i had to do to see updates that didn't change the value

            motion sensor Model Number: GP-U999SJVLBAA
            multipurpose sensor Model Number: GP-U999SJVLAAA

I cant seem to find any tech data that says how they update. They were reading fine on the smartthings hub before I switched them over to HS4

              It's very confusing.

yeah i agree a bit confusing but i think on HS4 still you want that unchecked, so that the "last change time" gets updated even if the "status" is unchanged. then OP will be able to tell if his devices are actually still reporting 100% multiple times or if they haven't reported in a few days.

                    That's because they are ZigBee.

Zigbee is working fine. The battery info just won't update.

I'm really hoping for a workable Zigbee, too.

If you Google [forums.homeseer HS4 Nortek] you will find some info on the Zigbee implementation and my comprehension is that Zigbee has not been "finished," yet.

The installation instructions and compatible devices page is a broken link here in the Zigbee Plug-In page, so it is hard to tell what works (or will work).

                              https://shop.homeseer.com/collection...plugin-for-hs4

One person asks about Zigbee, "Is this being developed?" and the answer is, "yes it is being developed, lately I focused on other plugins but I will get back to Zigbee soon (probably end of August as I will be on vacation at the beginning of August)"
