Unable to save camera URL?

I'm trying to set up a simple manual camera to grab a snapshot from an external site, but the URL doesn't save. When I refresh the Setup page it always shows "http://" as the URL, and the log shows "Error with request: http://->Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed."

Shouldn't this be possible, or am I misunderstanding something?

Yes of course. Workflow:

- enter camera name, press (+) button
- enter URL, press Save button

At this point everything looks OK, but if I go to the cameras page the camera appears but the content doesn't.

When I go back to the Setup page the URL is not saved.

To answer my own question. My workaround was:
Add a camera from the web gui (setup)
edit the hspi_HSTouch.ini with the follwing lines
url_CAMNNAME=<YOUR URL>
urlstream_CAMNAME=<YOUR RTSP>

As of Jul 2023 this problem still exists! I added the URLs manually to the ini file as you suggested and it works!
