    Z-Wave Plugin behavior changed in HS4 Release 4.1.7.0

    Am I doing something wrong, or has the simple "Add Node" item disappeared from the Z-wave Plugin?

    After the 4.1.7.0 update it seems you now need to select:
    Z-Wave->Controller Management->Z-Wave Interfaces-Actions->add/include a node
    to add a new Z-Wave node?

    Correct? Or am I missing something?
    Thanks

    I don't remember there ever being an "Add Node" button, I've always used the actions dropdown.

    And on 4.1.6 I can't find a button for Add Node.

    Also I don't see why it would have changed since it's in the plugin, not in core HS4.

        Ah, I found out what 'changed' with the 4.1.7.0 release...
        The update 'Disabled' the Z-Wave GUI plugin.

        For Z-Wave plugins, I current have both:
        - Z-Wave (3.0.2.4)
        - Z-Wave GUI (0.3.0.0) Disabled

        I had been using the "Z-Wave GUI" plugin. And it HAD been working for me.

        I think that with the update, the Z-Wave GUI has problems, and HomeSeer disabled its operation.
        I say this because I tried enabling "Z-Wave GUI", and my Z-Wave Plugin locked up.
        Including not being able to Disable "Z-Wave GUI"
        I DO NOT advise anyone to try "Z-Wave GUI" till HomeSeer says it is working.

        Luckily I had made a backup, and was able to restore the backup that had the Z-Wave GUI Disabled.

        The "Z-Wave GUI" plugin had the following Z-Wave Menu items:
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Z-Wave UI Settings
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Add/Include Z-Wave Device
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Remove Z-Wave Device
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Advanced Controller Functions

        And selecting the "Z-Wave UI Settings" allowed you to selected the new UI, or the older UI.

        With "Z-Wave GUI" Disabled, the Z-Wave Plugin menu has the following items:
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Config
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Help
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Node Information
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Lock Management
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Scene Management
        Plugins->Z-Wave->Controller Management

        So, to recap:
        I had been using the "Z-wave GUI" plugin, and it had been working for me, but with the 4.1.7.0 release, HomeSeer disabled it and my Z-Wave menu items reverted back to the 'standard' "Z-Wave" plugin menu items. That was what confused me. I had not realized that the "Z-wave GUI" plugin was version 0.3.0.0 and I had just been using it.
