Upgraded to HS4 and Web Page Won't Load

I'm trying to register and log this with the new support portal (not receiving the register email yet), but while I wait wanted to see if there is a quick fix from the community. I just upgraded to HS4 following the upgrade guide. However, once I startup HS4, it launches a browser window with the correct IP address, but no page loads. I get the error "This Page isn't working". Any ideas?

I just removed HS4 completely, installed fresh to a different folder (so as to not use any old settings), and I get the same result.

Post a screenshot of what you see when try to connect to the webpage.

      If you see : <html><head><META HTTP-EQUIV=REFRESH CONTENT="0;URL=/register.html"></head><body></body></html>"

It's important that you retain a copy of your previous HomeSeer folder.

Looks like you didn't add you html folder which should contain all your previous devices

Try to start in the browser with find.homeseer.com

It never prompted me to register my license. In HS3 there was a button above Web interface and and Startup Log that isn't there in HS4. Not sure how to correct the license issue.

I have a complete copy of the HS3 folder, so no worries there. That wouldn't have anything to do with the issue I'm seeing. I did a complete clean install in another folder (without copying or referencing any old data), and I get the same results. It should launch the web interface, but it doesn't. I tried it on another computer and got the same results.

Had the same problem. In case anyone else runs into this Safari wouldn’t show the register page. Had to use Chrome.

Using manual link worked for me as well - I thought HS4 upgrade failed but it was just HS4 being silly and insisting to go to device page even before registrations. It was also using port 80/default.

Never mind, I figured it out. Just punch in you own IP and port number. Thanks.

                            That was an odd error.
