Hi.
I wanted to create a virtual device that has the same status values and graphics as a temperature sensor. There are too many to set it all up manually. I found that using bulk edit option you can duplicate a device (feature) which is great as it can be altered and used as I like. Problem is, as it is a child of a parent device, if I ever need to delete the parent device due a fault, it deletes the copied device.
Is there any way to dissociate a copied device from its parent so it doesn't get deleted with its parent?
If not, is there a method in HS4 to duplicate a device without creating the parent child association?
Thanks
