HS4 as Service in NSSM glitches when starting EXE’s?

Was happily running HS4 as service with NSSM, but noticed that when I now trigger some custom AutoIT exe files (bring up blue iris, or iTunes for instance), they do not run properly (as in nothing happens) and I cannot figure out why. Is it something to do with homeseer being run as an administrator? Very confused.

    does anyone have a workaround?

anyways are there other problems with running HS4 as a service?

for now I am back to task scheduler.

Okay answered my own question. You cannot run an exe from a service.

The workaround is when you are running homeseer as a service and want to run an EXE, you have to create a windows task in the task scheduler that runs the EXE file. I just wrote a simple batch file to run the task and run the BAT file from homeseer.
