HS3 to HS4

Hi,

I was not sure if this was meant to be in the HS3 section or the HS4 section.

I am trying to upgrade my Hometroller Zee S2 from HS3 to Hs4. In the manual it say to click on the "Upgrade to HS4" button in the maintenance screen, but I assume that's if you have version 1.3 of the maintenance screen, and I dont, I have Version 1.0

I have tried clicking on the "Update HomeSeer Recovery Utility" button which says its upgraded, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
I have tried changing the end of the URL from Main.html to Main.php and that just gives me a 404

My software if up to Beta 3.0.0.551 as the manual asks.

How do I get the upgrade button up?

Ive also tried to do an update via putty by grabbing the update from

sudo wget www.homeseer.com/linux/recovery/Recovery.tar

but that still seems to be version 1.0

Very much appreciated, but the video tutorial seems to be for a windows install, the Zee S2 runs on a raspberry pi, so I am not sure how to do many of the steps

The upgrade instructions are silent on how to update the maintenance page. Best to file a trouble ticket.

I have now raised a ticket to try and get the maintenance page updated before i have to try a full clean install. Im surprised this has not been address previously by Homeseer

while I am waiting for support to reply to the ticket. I'm giving the fresh install route a go, but was wondering, if you only bought the upgrade option from the store will that not work on a fresh install as you do not get a new license number. I only have my HS3 License number.

Also, for the License password, is that something Homeseer provided (been about 5 years since I bought the Homeseer!!)

You have all you need if you follow the instructions in my post at #2 or go straight here : https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...to-install-hs4

So if you backed up (https://docs.homeseer.com/pages/view...ageId=17466488 ) then you can restore to the new install
