Shutting down HS4

I need to understand the proper method to shut down the HS4 PRO application on my HomeTrollerPlusG1 before doing a restart. I have been told that if I just power down the system could corrupt. I have simply stopped the application then a resart of the hub but... I get the following on the reboot.

You will want to either remote desktop into the hardware and shut down HS4 or you can try setting up an event to run the command &hs.shutdown
