transfering, moving hs4 from one PC to another PC

Dear All,

not sure it's the best forum for asking this question: i need to move my homeseer hs4 instal from on PC to another. What is the best procedure to do the minimum reconfiguration ?

Install HS4 on the new PC then replace the entire HS4 directory on the new PC with that from the old one.

Yes it is simple. Just did this 2 days ago when I reinstalled Windows.

Actually, i did it, and i have all devices, all events, ... but no plug-in. was it the same on your side ?

I didn't have to reinstall my plugins. Just guessing at a possible cause...did you shut down HS4 before copying the HS4 directory?

One thing that will be helpful in the transition, so to note the path of your Homeseer installation on your old system, and make sure to install it in the same path on the new one. Saves having to go through and redirect any hard paths in your plugins or script files.
