    HS4 User Interface bug?

    Try this:
    1) Create a Counter "TestCounter"
    2) Create an Event "Test Event"
In the first action select "A Device Changes and Becomes..." and select one of your devices
    3) Add an "AND IF"
But for this select "A Counters Value is..."
For "Trigger Type" select "A Counters' Value is this Absolute Value"
Then enter a value 1 and save.

The text for the "AND IF" then shows this text:

Counter TestCounter value has become this absolute value: 1

    Shouldn't it say:

Counter TestCounter value is this absolute value: 1

Since it is an "AND IF" not the main "IF"

    ??

Yes, it is inconsistency of naming. Has been this way since HS3. It doesn't affect the function and it reads correctly when you enter it, but it is changed when the Condition is saved. Despite the language being different when saved, the verbiage is actually correct. "Has become" does not imply that it just became

      Hi randy,
Yes, As you say the words are correct when entering but IMHO the words could be a a bit more specific after saving because in this case, the phrase can be interpreted as an "event" rather than a "status".

      but fair point...
