Go Control Thermostat Voice Control

Hi all,

How or what would be the command to control my thermostat through the echo? I have two devices, heat and air conditioner which show up separately in the echo devices. I need to be able to set the heat and ac points seperately so i can leave the thermostat in auto mode. Thoughts?

For a thermostat to be controlled via Alexa, set the voice command on the root device, not on the features.
Once that is set to something like "My Thermostat" you can:

Alexa, set My Thermostat to Cool
Alexa, set My Thermostat to 72 degrees
Alexa, make My Thermostat cooler
Alexa, make My Thermostat warmer
etc.

How would I change the heat and cool set points individually then?

Its actually fine this way just leave it on auto and ask for two degrees higher or lower depending on what season it is. Thank you!
