On HS3 I could define a devices as status only and specify the number of decimal places and prefix/suffix for the device value when it was displayed. For HS4 I don't seem to be able to do define a feature without having a control appear on the display. Is this still possible? The device/feature is controlled by mcsMQTT and is defined there as a status only device. It is not changed by HS4 - it is set by a remote system.

HS4 doesn’t allow for the editing of status/value pairs on a root device. You can use the legacy page by <HomeSeer IP>/deviceutility where you can still edit a root device. With Jon00’s Links plugin it is available through the Legacy menu where he has wrapped an HS4 header around it.
